French/Italian, her work takes the form of photography, drawing and collage. Born and raised in a nature reserve on the Pacific coast of Mexico, she has been surrounded and inspired by the abundant and diverse culture it has to offer. From pre-Hispanic art, mythology, artisanal art forms, vivid colors, spirituality, to its vast flora and fauna. Her work is an exploration of consciousness with surrealism, nature, Mesoamerican folklore, melancholy and duality.
Lea has had a presence in group exhibitions in the UK, Paris and Los Angeles, between 2015 and 2018, and has also exhibited a mural at the Drake Hotel in Toronto. She had her first solo exhibition in Mexico City in December 2020 and her work has appeared in publications such as British Vogue, Vogue Mexico, ID Magazine, So It Goes, Based Instabul and Ingenue Magazine.
